Bible Note: T, We are doing fine. Thank you for asking. Is all well with you? After reading your post, which was very good, these scriptures came to mind. I was quilty of the same thing you speak of in time past, holding those less informed to a standard that I, not the Lord, set. I was corrected by these scriptures, especially Gal 6:3; that one HURT! Rom 14:1 Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of passing judgment on his opinions Rom 15:1 Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Gal 6:1 Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. Gal 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. Gal 6:3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Gal 6:4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. Always your brother in Chist our Lord, David I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continually be in my mouth! |
