Bible Note: Mommapbs, I will sing praise to the Lord my God in my heart the day long! I will sing of his mercy his and love and his grace! I will sing to him with a joyful heart! I will sing praises to the Lord! Yes, I want to chime in. In Radioman's post he reffers to 1 Cor 6:19. In my way of thinking (That's scary, isn't it?), that scripture answers the question on suisude. It tells me that I am not my own, so, God is the one who appoints the time that I should leave this body and be clothed with the other one that he has prepared for me. This verse from Hebrews came to mind also: Heb 9:27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, As far as destroying the temple of the Holy Spirit is concerned, I would agree with you. Here are a few verses from 1 Cor 12. In this chapter Paul is speaking of spiritual gifts. 1 Cor 12:11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills. 1 Cor 12:12 For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. 1 Cor 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. 1 Cor 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many. 1 Cor 12:15 If the foot says, "Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body," it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body. Blessing to you T! Always your brother in prayer and praise, Cyclist I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continually be in my mouth! |
