Subject: Will we know each other in Heaven? |
Bible Note: Dear Brad, The final blessing in the order of salvation (ordo salutis) is the redemption of the body. This will mark the conclusion of the interim state, the time between death and resurrection. The spirit is rejoined with the body. The nature of that body is a matter of speculation. Certainly we know it will be like the resurrected body of Christ, who is the first fruits of many brethren. Certainly it will be, as you've pointed out, "incorruptible." The lost are raised from the dead as well. Their resurrected bodies will be able to survive the eternity that they face as well. Read carefully the LBCF statement I quoted in the post that prompted your question. You'll see that the old divines also provided Scripture reference. In Him, Doc |
