Bible Question: Never saw anything on this verse is this when Christ delivers kingdom to God. Will there not be a Son then. By the way where does the Bible say God the Son? thanks |
Bible Answer: This verse refers to Christ's second coming. The events that will accompany it include Christ's handing over the kingdom to the Father. Subsequent to this action, Christ will destroy the power and authority of all forces that oppose Him, including the devil and his minions. To your second question, why wouldn't there be a Son then, since He is eternal. To your third question, John 1:1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD" (emphasis mine). --Hank |
