NASB | 1 Corinthians 15:2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 15:2 By this faith you are saved [reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose], if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain [just superficially and without complete commitment]. |
Bible Question: Is there anywhere in the Bible that speaks about one losing their salvation. I would like to know of any verses that may support this. Thank you. |
Bible Answer: No salvation is a Person. It is given to us by the grace of God. If you have the Son you have past from spiritual death to spiritual life. Jesus says to His Father that the ones His Father gave Him He will keep. Our salvation does not depend on our works to keep it. Jesus says He is the author and finisher of our faith. The good work that He started He will finish. Praise God! |
