Bible Note: God bless you as well, There! I agree wholeheartedly with what you've said here. We all have "appetites," right? Wants, needs, desires... Some we're born with, some we learn. Some are harmless. Some are sinful. Even to let the fairly harmless "appetites" run rampant is a sin. (Gluttony.) The Lord wants us to control our bodies. Not jsut as it pertains to unnatural appetites either! Complete control. Thus our minds and spirits also fall under our control and are then easily turned in the correct direction. Towards HIM. I find such peace when my heart and mind in a free moment turn to God and to prayer. When it runs rampant with things I need/want to do? ugh. Hard to sleep at night.
