AMPLIFIED 2015	1 Corinthians 12:28 So God has appointed and placed in the church [for His own use]: first apostles [chosen by Christ], second prophets [those who foretell the future, those who speak a new message from God to the people], third teachers, then those who work miracles, then those with the gifts of healings, the helpers, the administrators, and speakers in various kinds of [unknown] tongues.

There are several views, including:
- Tongues is needed to prove one is saved
-- Ask do the churches who think this
--- is it a language according to a linguist
--- do they follow the Bible, ONE at a time. with an interpeter between ... max three.
- Tongues is one of the gifts, still active
-- Ask do the churches who think this ... is it in a church setting or one to one? Some speak in a tongue they have never studied to one person. Also, the Gospel has never been presented with this gift, in Acts.

Barach left out "But earnestly desire the greater gifts. And I show you a still more excellent way" (1 Cor 12:31) ... Barach showed that tongues is one of the gifts, and notice the order.

terrib quoted ... "Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues, BUT EVEN MORE THAT YOU WOULD PROOPHESY" ... which gift is more important?
