Bible Note: So is drinking deadly poison the only one to not be taken literally? Who decides what should be taken literally? If a Christian was forced to drink deadly poison does this eman he was not a believer ... or this promise is false? My point is that while some of these promises may be fulfilled today, it doesn't have to mean this passage is the basis. The reason for these signs was because the preaching of the Gospel was new and they were needed. Even more, speaking in a tongue of the natives - new to the speaker only. Also, Satan has copied all these signs, or faked them. |
