Bible Question:
although the apostles performed miracles in olden times, i am curious to know if miracles are still in effect, or is it the grace of God that people are healed? book, chapter and verse please. |
Bible Answer: Hebrews 13:8 Declares that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever". It was Jesus that called the church, the apostles and sent them out. In Matt. 10-- He told them to heal the sick and even to raise the dead amongst many other things. In Romans 12, we are told about the great body that we are a part of. We all have different gifts and callings in our lives but yes, it is so clear that not only did miracles happen but they still do. It is God who they come from but it is his body that He flows through to bring them. Romans 11 : 20 The gifts and calling of God are without repentance. |
