Subject: To understand one verse ! |
Bible Note: It seems that I'm a bit late to chime in on this discussion, but it's something that I've studied for a long time and am quite passionate about. I believe that this verse is concluding Paul's exhortation regarding head coverings and that he is saying that this is the only option...this is the order of the church and anyone who doesn't like it should deal with it. I do believe that it is a practice that should be continued in today's church. I came to this conclusion, primarily because of Paul's appeals which extend beyond culture and that time period to the creation and order in it when God first created man and woman. I don't know if that means anything to anyone else, but that's where I'm at. |
