Bible Question:
If we have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in us, what does He do if (when) we sin? Does He depart because God cannot dwell where there is sin? |
Bible Answer: Question: Does [the Spirit of Christ] depart because God cannot dwell where there is sin? Answer: No believer of the present Church Age need ever pray, 'Take not thy Holy Spirit from me'; for Christ promised His own that the Spirit would 'abide with you forever' (Jn. 14:16; compare Eph. 4:30). |
