AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 8:29 For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers. |
Bible Question:
Is the story of Jesus being born, 100 percent true with pure factual evidence? Why does every so often some one makes a prediction and they say its from God, its wrong? Why wont Jesus magic fool us today? Is the apocoplipse going to happen on 2011? All of these questions I just asked are some of the questions that my unbelieving friend has asked me. I am totally lost in giving answers to these questions. Can somebody help me out. Yes, I do know there are scholors out there. |
Bible Answer: If someone makes a prediction and it's wrong then they are called a false prophet. 1 John 4:1 says: 1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. How do you test them? If something they says goes against the word of God or if what they predict doesn't happen they are not from God. You see quite a few people predicting the end of the world, when Jesus will return. What does scripture say? Mark 13:32 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." (read all of Mark 13) |
