Subject: Is there a bible verse that means this? |
Bible Note: Greetings and welcome to the forum. When I first started reading the Bible for my self I was given a very good peace of information that turned out to be very informative. I would like to pass this on to you and if used, will save you a lot of time and confusion. You seem to be following the same pattern that I pursued which lead to many misunderstandings of Scripture. The best interpretation of the Bible is the Bible it’s self. The best advice I was given was to read through the New Testament no less then three times before ever venturing into any of the Old Testament and before reading, always ask the Lord to reveal the truth of His Word to you. The best news that I found was that eternal life is a free gift from God and that when God gives that free gift you will have not doubt that you have eternal life right here and now. It can’t be earned and it doesn’t depend on us but Jesus and the fact that He paid the price that God requires for our salvation. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Some of the most fantastic promises that God has offered us are found in the book of John’s gospel. God can’t lie and we must depend on this fact and claim those promises! Have a great day and stick to the Word, CDBJ |
