Bible Question:
Is there bible verse that means something like this? That everything happens for a reason, and god already has a perfect plan for you, but you have to work for that plan. It just isn’t going to be given to you and if something does happen that you don’t like, it’s because everything happens for a reason even if you don’t know what it is yet. Thanks! |
Bible Answer: Well,1st of all, logic says NO. If everything happened for a reason, that would make God responsible. Safety standards at factories and coal mines, etc, would have no statistical difference, across the board. In my examination of my beliefs, one of the first things I came to see, is that God has a purpose in what he does. While everything does not happen for a reason, things that happen, that could interfere with his purpose, such as when the "wise men" were to tell Herod where Jesus was as a child and an angel told them to leave town by a different route etc. Most of what happens in life has nothing to do with God. As it says in the last part of Ecclesiastes 9:11 IT IS JUST HAPPENSTANCE. "because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all" That's a "nutshell" answer. |
