Bible Note: Hey Ray, I agree with you. Distinguishing the Word of God is highly important. Giving the fact that you're right, how do you go by rectifying that which is already in print?? Also, is there a Hebrew word that refers to angel and spirit?? I ask because I honestly don't know. What I honestly believe is that God is the Author of His word. I believe that He had His word written the way He wanted it written, II Peter 1:20-21. According to the King James Version of this verse, the bottom half of v.21 says, “…but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but could this verse indicate that these men wrote as they were instructed to write?? And could this come right down to the very words that they used?? And could I Cor.2:13 be used to validate this point?? Or are these errors the result of translational differences?? And just for the record, I have looked up the verses you provided, and I can see your point, especially in Ezekiel 36:26. There has to be a reason why it is written the way that it is, and I have to believe that it’s the way God wanted it to be. Anything else raises too many questions in my mind. The CurtMan |
