Subject: How much of Torah is to be followed? |
Bible Note: Dear Talmid etc... Welcome to the forum! This question gets asked so many times, I worry that the church is leaving an incredible vacuum. Indeed, I responded to this question again just last week. Please see post #192820. As Jewish believers I'd say the first step in thinking through how the Law should effect our lives, would to studiously and meticulously avoid any of the commands that foreshadowed the perfect atonement provide by God through Jesus Christ. That'd be like using smoke signals to call your wife while keeping your cell phone in your pocket. Maybe that's a silly example, but you get the point.
