Bible Question: please explain the whole chapter .. in a nutshell what it all means.? |
Bible Answer: Greetings ador53 and welcome to the forum, Ub Chapter 7 Paul realizes that his readers will have many questions about how the law relates to them and their faith, He gives a detailed explanation of what it means to not be under the law but under grace. He teaches that the law: 1 - can not any longer condemn a believer (7:1-6) 2 - it convicts both believers and unbelievers of sin (7:7-13) 3 - it can not deliever a believer from sin (7:14-25) 4 - believers who walk in the Spirit can fulfill the law (8:1-4) (McArthur Study Bible) Hope this helps. prayon |
