NASB | Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 5:19 For just as through one man's disobedience [his failure to hear, his carelessness] the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of the one Man the many will be made righteous and acceptable to God and brought into right standing with Him. |
Subject: Is sin inherited from father and mother? |
Bible Note: Greetings disciplerami: Man was created in the image of God. He is a triune being. When reproduction occurs, it encomapsses the whole ball of wax, the physical, spiritual and intellectual or emotional nature is transmitted to the offspring. The study of genetics is a means by which I(EMPHASIS HERE!) am able to understand the transmission of the Adamic nature from generation to generation. According to your philosophy - an individual does not sin until the action of sin has been committed. This would also demand that until that point, an individual would be righteous. But God has declared that apart from God, NO ONE is righteous - all righteousnesss is GIVEN by God or imputed. Remember that mercy is not getting what we deserve and grace is getting what we don't deserve. God is the giver of these gifts. Romans 1 is very clear that all men are without excuse but as far as those who are mentally disabled, I will continue to trust in the MERCY and GRACE of God. When we get to Glory, let's be sure to meet with the Lord and get this all sorted out OK? Blessings, mommapbs |
