AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 5:19 For just as through one man's disobedience [his failure to hear, his carelessness] the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of the one Man the many will be made righteous and acceptable to God and brought into right standing with Him. |
Bible Question: How does Romans 5:19 relate to the doctrine of sin? |
Bible Answer: It relates to sin paid for. It relates to sins previously committed passed over. Rom 3:25 It relates to our (trying) not sinning anymore because "we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins;..." 1 John 2:2 By this the love of God was manifested in us and we also ought to love one another. 1 John 4:9-11. "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." 1 John 4:10. "This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all." 1 John 1:5 The righteous One died for us all, a perfect sacrifice for sin.
