Bible Question:
Hi, Romans2:12 For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law. Romans5:13-for until the Law sin was in the world but sin is not imputed when there is no Law. These two verses appear to be contradictory? Your comments, please. With love in Christ. FytRobert |
Bible Answer: FytRobert There is no contradiction in fact they complement each other. 2:12 is saying Gentiles that don't know the whole law will be judged acccording to their disobedience to what they do know. 'That there is a creator God' Romans 1 5:13 merely says before the law man was in sin but that there is no explict list of crimes under which to place his rebellion against God. EdB |
