AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). |
Bible Question: What exactly is the cross symbolic of? I understand the messiah's suffering, pain and agony. But what else, I am a bible student and need to know this. |
Bible Answer: The cross symbolises the suffering of our Lord Jesus. The betraying of his children. They did not believe in the Messiah and therefor The Lord our God was crucified and he Died for our sins. |
