AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). |
Subject: Salvation by compulsion-Romans 5 |
Bible Note: formereveything, good evening, I really think Tim Moran and Angel summed things up nicely but let me add that when God created man He created Him to live forever. Because we choose sin death came into this world. But that does not change the fact God created us to always exist from the point of our conception foward. Therefore salvation would be the wrong term for what you are refering to I think the word you are looking for is ressurection. And yes all will be resurrected in that we have no option. What we do have an option in is will it be resurrected to glory with Christ or eternal damnation.Salvation is not manatory salvation comes when you surrender to Christ as Lord of your life in a state of repentence. Salvation is an excercise of our free will respnding with the faith God has given is to the Gospel. Resurrection is a fact we cannot avoid. Hope this helps. In The Love of Christ, tgc |
