NASB | Romans 3:4 May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written, "THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED." |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 3:4 Certainly not! Let God be found true [as He will be], though every person be found a liar, just as it is written [in Scripture], "THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED [by sinful men]." [Ps 51:4] |
Subject: Jehovah's Witnesses in a Nutshell |
Bible Note: Praise God, I am glad that I was able to shed some light on it. I have found myself, in the past, having done the same thing and even now controlling it. But God truly enlightened me to the fact that He doesn't even make people take the Gospel of Jesus but simply presnets it to them as a choice. Jesus has already done it for the Jehovah Witnesses and others who really don't believe in what Jesus has done. All they have to do is receive that truth and decide to take it for themselves. Even in the days Jesus walked the earth, He experienced the same type of opposition and knew how to answer all men due to His relationship with the Father and dying to His flesh daily which allows spiritual enlightment to come. The carnal man CANNOT understand the things of God which is what makes debating with these people useless. The Lord says that no one cometh except He draweth them first. Folks of every cult have been drawn and won to Christ. He constantly reminds us through His word to watch our conversation and to discipline our flesh because the flesh wants to do wrong. When we don't exercise God's principle's in His Word, we, as Christians, have made it easier for some folk to gravitate towards these cults. We need to center on God's mercy and His love but not leave out His judgement and penalty for sin. Let those of us who have been enlightned to the TRUTH tighten up our spiritual acts so that God can work the way He would like to work through us to win lost souls from the burning hell currently waiting for them. It's then that Jesus can truly say when we stand before Him "Well done good and faithful servant" |
