Bible Question: My question is about 'double imputation' of sin. Are unsaved men worthy of hell because they are born with original sin (and are guilty at conception) or for the sins they themselves commit (and are guilty at some age of culpability)? |
Bible Answer: Hi, Robin... Both are true. However, that is not the meaning of "double imputation." Double imputation is something to do with redemption. It speaks to the atonement of our Lord, in which the believer's sin is credited to the account of Christ and Christ's righteousness is credited to the believer's account. You will find it discussed elsewhere in the forum. In Him, Doc |
