Bible Note: Dear Maearl What Doc has said is correct. I would also like to add something. God said, in Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” There is a Truth our there. And yes, there is error. Lots of it. But the promise of Jeremiah 29:13 is that you WILL find God. But the condition to that promise is that you must search with ALL your heart. In Revelation 3:20 Christ says “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” There is an enemy out who would like nothing better than for you to become frustrated and give up. But like Doc said, the fact that this even concerns you is proof that the Holy Spirit is working in your heart. Don’t give up. You mentioned your sins. Jesus said "…It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Mark 2:17. I’ve done MANY things in my life that I hate. Many things that horrify me. But you and I are fortunate. Christ came to save people just like us. The apostle Paul, in his first letter to Timothy wrote “…Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.” 1 Timothy 1:15 I’m sure you’ve done many things in your life that you regret. So have I. For that matter, so had Paul. But Christ’s blood can cover those sins. Don’t give up. I'll pray for you. With Christian Love Ocelot |
