Subject: Still an adulteress if I marry again? |
Bible Note: Asis: "If we confess our sins He is quick to forgive and forget them". What version do you get this from? This has to be you own translation! That is NOT what it says! If I murder someone, and confess it He will quickly forgive me and forget it? Am I not a murder if I kill some one? Will I not be accountabe? Where does the law come into play? I ask you to consider what effect this act had on the family, on the other person who was with her, and what about the church? I think you got to the "quick" part too soon! I challenge you, yes in the eyes of God the juging of our sin and reaping what we sow is too a fact. Make no doubt that yes we are forgiven if we confess our sins, but that does not mean there is not a price to pay for our deeds. God does forgive all sin the same way. However not all sin is the same, or the results of the sin. Is thinking lustfully the same as taking the next step and do as David did? No! The sin starts in our thoughts, then when we move to make those sinfull thoughts come to pass and actually endulge in the sinfull deed. Is the actual deed equal to the thought? I look for your response. Peace. justme |
