Bible Note: Dear Brother John, Thanks for responding. Yes, I agree...the key is "Holy". I believe the reason that we (Chinese) translated it this way is because we do not have the term "Holy Kiss". Whenever I read of those quoted verses above, I always think about the idea as my statement/question in point 2 and in association with a sermon I heard years ago where the pastor warned brothers or sisters earnestly that when they cared about each other in doing counselling for those who were facing problems in marriage, precaution and heavenly wisdom must be prayerfully considered...one to one and cross gender (right word/term?) connection must be avoided to escape from temptation. Otherwise, the situation could be disastrous and severely hurtful and complicated. I personally witnessed (not involved) such case at my own church and learnt of similar cases at another church.
