Bible Question:
Is it lawful to worship on Sunday? The Reformed Baptist believe that the day of worship was the last day of the week from beginning of the world to the resurrection of Christ and from the resurrection of Christ it was changed into the first day of the week which is called the Lord's day. The observation of the last day of the week has been abolished. How true is this? They even quote 1Cor.16:1,2;Acts 20:7:Rev1:10. Please help me. |
Bible Answer: This subject has been discussed before ... Richkayt, use Quick Search: type Sabbath worship or Sabbath. There are arguments on both sides, citing Scripture. I doubt many make their day holy. One could even worship (focus an entire day and evening on God) on Saturday, making it holy and go to church on Sunday ... a holiday. Note the Bible never says the observation of the last day of the week has been abolished. IMHO, Searcher |
