Subject: What is sin? How is sin commited? |
Bible Note: Hi, Kcabm14... You asked, "Is it not true that we will all sit before the Judgement Seat? (sic)" Only the lost will be judged at the great white throne of judgment (Revelation 20:11-15). Believers will appear before the judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10). I deem the latter to be quite different from the former. You wrote, "Therefore the only sense we should consider is the legal sense of sin. (sic)" If God has graciously given us revealed things to us about this subject, we will want to cherish that gift and understand it as thoroughly as possible (Deuteronomy 29:29). If we ignore portions of Scripture, then we aren't living by every word of God, nor can we be men who rightly divide His word. You wrote, "There is not a sin that we could commit that will not be attributed to our account legally." If you are saved, your every sin is imputed to Christ (Isaiah 53:6; John 1:29; etc.) and His righteousness is imputed to us (2 Corinthians 5:21). In Him, Doc |
