Bible Question: i made an covenant vow with this man that i love and with God that I take him as my husband, without a witness God was the witness. Are we considered to be in a covenant marriage ? eventhough we don't have a lic.? |
Bible Answer: 1 Corr 14:40 But all things should be done with regard to decency and propriety and in an orderly fashion. Living with a person without the benefit of actual marriage, even though well meaning, would not be recognized as an acutal marriage covenant. Marriages between individuals are legal as well as spiritual. Your arrangement would not give you any legal benefits, nor would it offer legitimacy to your children. In Christ Ginger |
