Bible Question (short): Christian Opposition Polictian SINNED! |
Question (full): Greeting everyone who share the same query Just like to ask this question. Yes we know that God is sovereign, and everything. But we need know that Apostle Paul is writing this during the Roman Empire. Democracy was not originated in the Roman Emipire. The Greeks were ones who gave birth to democracy. Apostle Paul's Mission is not to be involved in politics but to preach the Gospel to the gentiles. In the context where the government is not evil, this greatly depends on which yard stick we are measuring the government against, therefore we can't rule out the possiblity of flaws in the governemnt, we need to know that human has flaws Questions : "Does it means that a christian politican who is in the opposition party SINNED?" regards Pratical Bible Student |
