AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 12:5 so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other]. |
Bible Question:
I do believe we are subject to one leader and that is the head of the church - Jesus Christ. And Jesus should be the head of every church. Thereby, being active at 2 churches your leader is still Christ. I kind of begin to understand your vessel and top analogy but then loose it. I just don't get it or see how it really applies. It starts to seem like a stretch to me. Maybe you can explain it a little more. |
Bible Answer: thenoel2, You have stated correctly. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the head. Note 1 Cor 12:12-24, Eph 4:4-5 and Matthew 6:33. Hopefully this will lend more understanding for you. I myself have never been able to reference anything calling into question going to more than one church. If God is top priority in what you do thats what counts. One thing I will tell you though, keep 2 Timothy 2:15 in mind it will serve you well in your walk with God. In Him, lionheart |
