Subject: God turns back on individuals? |
Bible Note: Dear humble, Roman 11:5 you cited clearly indicated that there are some that God does not choose. How would you reconcile this with your answer "no"? I think we should be careful not to take scripture out of its context. To the question, I would say "yes" and "no". God is Sovereign, Holy, Just and of course Love. He hates sin. We, as sinners, always under His wrath (John 3:36). We are condemned already and are hopless. Do a word search on "wrath" from the Bible Text box, you will find a bunch of scriptures describing God's wrath. The only way that we can escape from God's wrath is through His Son Jesus Christ. This is the only way He planned to exercise His saving grace and Love on sinners (Rom 5:8). He [Jesus] is our only hope and our only shelter. Read also Roman 8:28-30 and chapter 9. Shalom Azure |
