Bible Question:
Dear Brad, My question is how does a logical and rationale thinking person imagine that a loving, just and merciful God would create the human race picking and choosing who will be weak and who will be strong, so that one day He can torture forever those who weren't created strong enough to accept Jesus? It is no different than a developer purposely leaving out important features in custom homes and expecting them to sell. Did God not know how to create everyone a little different yet all having the perfect understanding of salvation? Thanks for patience in seeking the truth. The truth is never hard to defend. Bible Answer: Hi pukalanian, Your question presumes a reason of why some are saved and some not that is not Scriptural, and therefore, your question cannot be answered. You have asserted that strength and weakness are the foundations for one choosing to repent and one not. The Bible does not say that. The Bible tells us to believe in Jesus. That is what you are responsible to do. And if fact, the Bible teaches that the weak generally find it easier to yield to Jesus. My friend, I find the tone of your posts rather troubling. The implication of your words is that if one does not agree with your view, they are unthinking, illogical, and unrational. You strike me as an intelligent person, and I am certain that you will be able to express yourself in a more civil and friendly manner in the future. We are here to discuss the Bible. Is there a Bible passage you wish to consider with us? Love in Christ, Mark |
