Bible Question:
Is it wrong to have pictures of Jesus on your wall, since He is the glorified Christ today? thanx, retxar |
Bible Answer: Rextar, How can we sure that the picture we have is the true Jesus Christ? If the picture that you have the one who used by the catholic church, Im sure it is not Jesus Christ. 1Co 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 1Co 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. Apostle paul taught us that if the man have a long hair it is a shame, I dont think Jesus Christ will allow Himself to have a long hair and not cutting it as an example. Why do we have to have a kind of picture? Bible taught us to worship Him in Spirit and truth: Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. God bless, Johnny |
