AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 1:20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. Subject: How to know God just from seeing nature? |
Bible Note: Hello again Sir Pent! Yes, nature was "pleasing to the eye" of the Creator (Genesis 2:9) and was given a form of intelligence. Nature illustrates the Creator's greatness (Psalm 36:5-6, 77:16-18; Ezekiel 38:20)! All nature praises God (Psalm 69:34; 96:11-12; 148:1-14), and God owns nature (Psalm 50:9-12). Yet, God has entrusted nature to man (Psalm 115:16), since humans embodied a superior intelligence than that of the beasts and plants (Genesis 1:28), even though the beasts did possess a form of intelligence (Gen. 3:1). If man, in all his physical forms, possessed a "potential" or certain amount of intelligence when he was created (and now presently does as well), then who, rather than another intelligent being, could have given man his intelligence, or the potential for that intelligence? Another intelligent being had to give man his intelligence. And since we cannot gauge which man was the "most intelligent", we can conclude that all living beings do have a certain form or level of intelligence. However, with ALL of man's intelligence, man (who is the most intelligent being on earth), cannot fathom the complex creation or duplication of his own intelligence! Man cannot "impart" his intelligence to another thing or individual. Therefore, it had to be a "higher" intelligence or "supernatural" power that had to create that intelligence that was imparted to man. Blessings to you, Nolan |
