Thank you for your concise answer. My theory is that he did know by word of Jesus and when he witnessed Stephen's speach and death in acts7:57-59. Just theory say's the at on the the day described in Act's9:1 is the reason he Saul recognized who he was talking to and his question Who are you Lord was merely for conformation.
