Subject: How often must we die and be born again? |
Bible Note: Thank you, Rowdy, for your answer. I probably did not put my question clear enough. I was referring to Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus in John 3 when He spoke of the need to be born again. I believe Paul in his letter 1 Cor 15 50-54 spoke of the same born again. To repent and turn away from sinful life, to become a Christian, in my understanding does not fit the criteria "born again." Most of us would have to be born again practically every day because even as little as a sinful though would make us "fall short of the Glory of God." Matthew 5:22 But I tell you this. Anyone who is angry with his brother without having a good reason, will be judged in court. Anyone who says wrong things to his brother will be judged for it in the big court. Anyone who says "You fool!" will be judged to go into hell fire. I think we need forgiveness every day but the faithful will get born again on the Last Day because of our faith in Christ. My question is: Do we get born again more than once? |
