Bible Question: What is the biblical meaning of discernment. |
Bible Answer: Discernment - Spiritual perception: the ability to judge the true nature of a situation or a circumstance. AMPLIFIED 1 Kings 3:9 So give Your servant an understanding mind and a hearing heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and bad. For who is able to judge and rule this Your great people? Even as a child, Solomon's request to God was to give him the ability to perceive the hearts and intents of man. Not only did God favor his request, but gave him wisdom, riches and a long life (which he did not ask for) above and beyond any other person. |
