Bible Question:
-How could the Sanherdin act without permission of Rome? --Weren't they more careful with Jesus and Paul? -Weren't Nicodemus and Joseph part of the Sanherdin? --If so, where were they? |
Bible Answer: Hi. I think that in dealings of the Jewish culture and religion, the Romans were glad to stay away from, unless it japardised their authority over the Jewish. Steven's murder was like icing on the cake to stimulate division among the new Christians........Also I think that Nicodemus was to scare of Jesus at this point to be part of any fullishness again His church....What do you think? |
