Subject: Test the spirits |
Bible Note: Ryrie's Study Bible says, concerning this verse in the commentary of Acts 20:22, "Paul was being led by the Holy Spirit to go to Jerusalem, knowing that capture awaited him there (Acts 20:23). Those who later tried to dissuade him (Acts 21:4) did so because they knew through the Spirit what was ahead for him." And yes, Spirit should be capitalized, referring to the Holy Spirit. Good answer, Ray! |
