Subject: Trinity and Confusion |
Bible Note: Savannah, one day over 40 years ago, not long after my wife and I were married, she remarked that I was being "picky" about something or another. I replied, "Yes, I know that, but don't you think I usually excercise sound judgment in my pickiness? After all, I picked you to be my wife." She has not to this day ever brought the subject up again :-) ... Savannah, what you perceive as my being picky were merely comments designed and intented as catalysts to spur your own thinking about the content and potential impact of your stated position on the Trinity..... The expectation of some members of your family that they will be greeted in Heaven by essentially three gods (lower case is appropriate, since there is no such teaching in Scripture of three gods) is not consistent with the biblical doctrine of the Trinity. --Hank |
