Subject: How is the Holy spirit given to you |
Bible Note: God's day to you, armond888, While repent (plural) and baptized (singular) are commands, or answer to a question "Brethren, what shall we do?" (vs 36) the phrase 'for the forgiveness of sins' cannot be associated with the command to 'be baptized'. It is simply not gramatically possible. Translations can be confusing, including English. It is important to have a Interlinear and have some understanding of the Greek. Searcher |
