Bible Question: What was the significance of Jesus' Baptism? Inregards to the Old Testament, did it have something to do with the passing on of the Priestly mantle as John was of priestly descent - Aaron? Did they get baptised as priests in the Temple as part of the ceremony of priesthood? |
Bible Answer: It was an act of fatih that Jesus was saying to the Father that yes he would go through with the plan of His death and resurection. Jesus did not need to repent of anything. He operated in pure faith. |
