Bible Question: why did paul and barnabas fall out |
Bible Answer: Hi, LSmith! Paul felt that since John (Mark) did not complete the mission with them but returned to Jerusalem, he (Mark) should not accompany them on their return trip throughout the various towns and cities from which he remained absent during their mission. (Acts 15:36-41--see also Acts 13, the whole chapter.) Paul could have insisted on this in an effort to instill obedience and constancy in Mark. God Bless! Angel |
