Bible Note: Greetings justme! You know, I never really thought about this question. Jesus' disciples did the baptizing. Now we entrust this act of obedience to the pastor or minister, a shepherd of the flock. Perhaps in some fellowships, an elder performs this. I really don't know. As far as words that make the baptism "real" . . . I believe that unless a baptism is the result of the believer's inward desire to be obedient to this command of Christ, it's nothing more than getting a bath without soap. Blessings, Mommapbs |
