Bible Question: Could you deduct from this verse that EVERYONE is created with an opportunity for salvation? |
Bible Answer: The Gospel of Christ is for everyone. We should not allow any barrier to keep us from telling others about Christ. Acts 10:28 (ESV) And he said to them, "You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean. Acts 10:34-35 (ESV) So Peter opened his mouth and said: "Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, [35] but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him." "Perhaps the greatest barrier to the spread of the Good News in the first century was the Jewish-Gentile conflict...God was making it clear that the Good News of Christ is for everyone! We should not allow any barrier -- language, culture, prejudice, geography, economic level, or educational level -- to keep us from telling others about Christ" (Life Application Study Bible, Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., 1996). |
