Subject: Did God mention his/her gender in bible? |
Bible Note: correct...God is not female. But neither is he male. God is a Spirit and has no sex organs, therefore no sex. It is the sex organs that make us distinctly male or female. Our spirits are who we really are and we shall be as the angels when our bodies are changed in the twinkling of an eye at Jesus' return. In Heaven there is no marrying and giving in marriage, no procreation. (Mark 12:25) Study the Proverbs about Wisdom which is one of the seven spirits of God (Rev. 3:1) and Wisdom is referred to as she and Lady Wisdom. I agree as to Paul exhibiting both male and female attributes. AS I said before, men have predominately male attributes and women have predominately female attributes, but both can and do have both. Mature Christians such as Paul will display both as the situation calls for the same way God does. It is not a male/female thing. It is a Spirit of God thing. :-) |
