Subject: Did God mention his/her gender in bible? |
Bible Note: God is always Noun Masculine ... El, Eloah, Elohim, Yahweh, Adon, Adonai, Theos and Kurios. Bows44, greetings The pronoun always used for each member of the Trinity is masculine. Studying the Biblical languages prove that God is masculine. To make Him something else goes against what the Bible says. 1 Thessalonians 2:7-12 comes to mind about the female and male attributes ... which Paul (a male) and at least one exhibited. Genesis 1:27 says, "God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" ... but, that still doesn't make God a female. Searcher |
