Subject: what is the role of the HS in my life? |
Bible Note: Hi prayon, You wrote that "the part of God that is in us is the comforter Jesus sent us -the Holy Spirit." What would be your Scripture of reference for that statement? I looked at Romans 8:9-12 tonight and read that the Spirit of God dwells in you. I read that we need the Spirit of Christ in order to belong to God. I read that the spirit is alive because Christ is in you. When I come to verse 11 my question is "whose Spirit indwells us? And I believe that it is tied to "who raised Christ Jesus from the dead?" What other passage do you use for support in saying that the part of God that is in us is the Holy Spirit? 1) Another question I would have is whether you equate indwelling with filling. I look forward to talking with you. From the heart, Ray |
